Aie Serve Launches its New NGO Incubating Program “Aie Consult”

success story telling

Beirut – October 13th , 2012  –  A pioneer youth-based program named Aie Consult was launched today at the Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut in a press conference organized by Aie Serve.

Just like all of Aie Serve’s programs, Aie Consult is a service delivered to all uprising initiatives and NGOs with love and professionalism. It is in fact an incubator providing consultation and trainings to all the youth seeking the way to start up their own NGOs or initiatives.

According to Aie Serve’s president, Afif Tabsh, establishing a new youth based NGO from scratch was not an easy ride for them. Passing on this knowledge and experience to the new rising NGOs is at the heart of what Aie Consult is all about.

“What is special about Aie Consult program, is not only providing NGOs with the necessary technical know-how but also developing their soft-skills. In short, this program is wrapping Aie Serve’s experience and giving it on demand,” said Tabsh.

To better explain the A to Z knowledge that Aie Consult program provides, Program Coordinator Tarek Younis explained to the attendees the significance of the program for inexperienced social activists. As he put it, the program actually aims at empowering youth and their newly established NGOs on all organizational, legal and financial levels alongside providing them with the needed leadership skills.

“This program is an opportunity for youth, willing to take action and improve their communities, to implement their ideas through their self-made NGOs. Now that the pilot phase is successfully over, we are officially ready to help, coach, and train everyone,” confirmed Younis.

Proposal Writing, project management, fundraising and Team Management are just some of the workshops that Aie Consult program provides to young NGO’s.

In fact, the inspiring program was fully tested on a number of rising NGOs during 2012 among which were the Lebanese Society for Children Capacity Building – LSCCB and Nawaya.

LSCCB’s president, Myriam Kharma was among the speakers in the press conference, who shared their fruitful experience with Aie Consult.

Similarly, Zeina Saab, Nawaya’s president complimented Aie Serve’s efforts to help them fully establish their NGO in a most professional manner.

“We’re certainly so grateful for Aie Serve’s support – they made the entire process of starting up an NGO so much easier, and I would highly recommend the Aie Consult program for anyone looking to establish or strengthen their organizations here.”
